Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4, 1954. She is a comedian from Canada as well as an actress and writer. O'Hara is the proud recipient of numerous awards that include the Genie Award. In the year 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress in 1974, as an actor in The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. She was part of the main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) along with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara and Candy began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her writing in the Outstanding category for Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
