Lily Rabe
Lily Rabe is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for her multiple roles on the FX anthology horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). She received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress for a Play for her performance in The Merchant of Venice. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe was also part of the TV series The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2021), The Underground Railroad (2021), The First Lady (2022) Her screen debut came in 2001 opposite Jill Clayburgh, her mother. Her professional stage debut was staged by the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts in which she was a part-time actress with her mother. She was a major character in speaking well of the dead performed by Israel Horovitz and The Crazy Girl (Frank Pugliese) both of which were one-act plays that allowed her to earn an Equity Card. She was in Proof which was a play written created by David Auburn, at the Gloucester Stage Company in July 2003. She also appeared in the film Mona Lisa Smile. After graduation, she relocated back to New York. From September 29 to October 2 of 2004, she appeared in White Jesus by Deirdre O'Connor in a set of one-act plays presented in the form of The Democracy Project from the Naked Angels Theater Company.
